I'm seriously debating whether or not I'm going to take Painting 2. Because here's what courses I plan to take:
ARTE 342
FLCL Honors Classical Mythology
FLJA Intro to Japanese Culture
ART 324 Painting II
ART Beg. Metal and Jewelry Making
FlRP
So basically,16 credit hours plus 25 hours of elementary level clinicals. But dropping a studio course and taking 13 credit hours seems like it will be slacker-ish. We'll see. I need to focus on this semester.
I have a shot at straight A's this semester and I'm going to have to really bust my ass even more than I already am. My social life is nonexistent. I'm either studying, working out, sleeping, or in class (or at the art building).
My painting class is going okay, we're working on an abstract painting. Abstraction is a field I've never set foot in so this will be all newwww. My prof thought I was an illustration major because I get really picky with details. I get frustrated how I can't get to the level resolution with paint the way I can with drawing.
Speaking of drawing, we've started up with conte crayon. I love conte crayon and rather dislike charcoal. The first night of using it my prof was curious why I was so strong with charcoal and not so with conte crayon. Apparently I'm treating them differently. It's annoying because I'm not trying to, I just tend to use more line when I use conte crayon. Gahhhh.
I can't wait for winter break!!! Maybe sometime I'll upload some of the crap I've been doing this semester.

It's kinda easy when you have nothing, cus nothing can be taken away from you.
